Founding members of Depeche Mode, Vince Clarke and Martin Gore, have joined songwriting forces for the first time in 30 years and crafted a an album under the moniker VCMG (perhaps they were inspired by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross' recent collaborative success?). Set to release in March, Ssss, is (seemingly) instrumentals of classic synthpop meets modern EBM. The lead track, "Spock" (I'm just waiting for some die-hard Trek fan to create a dancing montage of the character of the same name to the song) is--at least--interesting enough to warrant a second and third listen.
